Start with the exact crash boundary
Confirm whether WhatsApp shows no window, flashes a window and exits, stays in Activity Monitor, or displays a macOS report. Those observations separate launch failure from login or network failure. Keep the official app unchanged and record macOS, WhatsApp, and Dual App Master versions. Do not infer Mac support from mobile features; inspect the current Mac client for an actual Add account or Switch account control.
Compare with the official app
- Quit all WhatsApp processes normally.
- Open the official app and perform one harmless message test.
- Quit it, then open only the named instance.
