Privacy summary
Offline PDF Unlocker requires no account, contains no ads, and does not track you. PDFs you select, passwords you enter, and exported files are processed locally on your iPhone or Mac and are never uploaded to the developer.
Local PDF processing
The app reads a PDF only after you explicitly select it, to remove a known password or permission restriction, add password protection, and export a new copy. PDF contents, filenames, file paths, passwords, and results never leave your device. The app does not intentionally modify the original file.
Data stored on your device
The app may store interface preferences, a processing-history summary, and the entitlement state for the one-time Pro purchase locally. History contains no PDF contents or passwords and can be cleared in the app. Uninstalling removes data in the app container; exported copies you saved to Files or elsewhere remain under your control.
Purchases
Pro is a one-time in-app purchase provided through Apple's App Store. Apple processes payment, transaction records, and purchase restoration; the developer does not receive your full payment-card information. The app reads only the transaction result supplied by Apple to unlock features or restore a purchase.
Collection, tracking, and sharing
The app collects no analytics, diagnostics, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or other personal data. It contains no third-party advertising SDK and does not track you across apps or websites. Apart from Apple's processing needed to complete a purchase, the app sends no data to third parties.
Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.
